eventsSaturday Holy Name DevotionsDevotions to the most Holy Name of Jesus are held on the second Saturday of each month at the Church of St. Augustine located at 408 3rd Street North, So. St. Paul, Minnesota. Devotions begin with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:40 a.m. followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 8:00 a.m. The Litany to the Most Holy Name of Jesus is recited immediately following Mass. Confessions are also available following Mass. Solidarity Saturdays The Holy Name Society of the Church of St. Olaf in Minneapolis hosts Solidarity Saturdays the 2nd Saturday of each month at the Church of St. Olaf located at the corner of 8th Street and Second Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Solidarity Saturdays begin with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 8:00 a.m.
AAHNS EventsBoard MeetingsMeetings of the Archdiocesan Association of Holy Name Societies Board are held the third Monday of every month - August through May. Meetings are held at the Church of St. Albert the Great, 2836 33rd Ave South Minneapolis, Minnesota. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the Church Hall or rectory office. Annual General Membership AssemblyThe Annual General Membership Assembly is held each October. Parish Holy Name Societies host the assembly on a rotating basis. The Annual General membership Assembly is open to all members of the Holy Name Society within the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Lenten Day of RecollectionEach year in the season of Lent, the AAHNS Board sponsors a Lenten Day of Recollection for all Holy Name Society members. Parish Holy Name Societies host this very special spiritual event on a rotating basis. The Lenten season is a time of reconciliation and penance. This event is designed especially to help the men of the Holy Name Society and their families reconcile their lives with our Savior. Annual Spring BanquetEach Spring the Board of the Archdiocesan Association of Holy Name Societies sponsors an annual recognition banquet for the general membership.
